Marc Baumgarnter is an experienced attorney specialising in employment, commercial and corporate law. In particular, he advises international companies and groups on a wide range of contractual and legal matters.
As a member of the Bar, he also regularly acts as counsel in litigation in front of national courts and arbitration tribunals.
Marc Baumgartner is legal adviser to a large number of companies operating in a wide range of sectors (luxury goods and watchmaking, property services, F&B, commodities trading, staff leasing and recruitment services, manufacturing, etc.).
In this context, he has developed extensive expertise in employment law, notably from the employer’s point of view
He regularly advises employers on the Swiss and cross-border regulatory environment, in particular regarding:
- drafting employment contracts and company regulations
- setting up remuneration schemes
- termination of employment agreements
- work permits for foreign workers
- company regulations
- cross-border issues
- Swiss and cross-border social security
In the event of employment law disputes, he also appears in front of the courts and conciliation authorities.
Marc Baumgartner is also frequently involved in corporate restructuring; investments; mergers and acquisitions; advising and assisting investors, sellers and shareholders.
In addition, he regularly assists boards of directors and company executives with their strategic decisions.
