Admitted to the Bar in 2003, Aude Longet-Cornuz is a recognised specialist in family law, particularly in divorce proceedings and measures to protect the marital union.
Experience

Aude Longet-Cornuz holds the title of Certified Specialist FSA in Family Law issued by the Swiss Bar Association and devotes the majority of her time to this area of practice.

She advises her clients and represents them in court in matters of separation, divorce, marriage, cohabitation, parentage, maintenance contributions, custody, visiting rights, child relocation, adoption, as well as guardianship and inheritance.

Over the course of her career, she has developed extensive expertise in complex divorce and separation proceedings, often with an international dimension.

She is also involved in family and inheritance planning.

She is an active member of the Civil Law Commission of the Bar Association, which she has co-heads ed since 2023, and is a frequent speaker at conferences on family and civil procedure law. Since 2021, she has been co-directing the “Matrimonial Law Hearings” workshop at the Ecole d’Avocature (ECAV). She also teaches the modules on Matrimonial Property Settlement and Succession as part of the Swiss Tax Expertise program. She was a deputy judge at the Geneva Civil Court for 10 years.
